According to https://theopinionatedindian.com/sports/from-soccer-to-horse-racing-diversification-of-indian/cid16250673.htm, the changes in the Indian betting market are impressive, and indeed, these changes are not happening by chance alone. India, a country with a long history of gambling, is experiencing a real boom in the betting industry, and this is not limited to traditional sports. Let's take it one by one. Firstly, India is a country with a huge population, where sports culture has always been an important part of life. If we talk about betting, then traditionally, as you rightly noted, the main bets were on football and cricket. Cricket is something like a religion for most Indians, and for many years, this sport was the main object of betting. However, as in other countries, with the development of technology, people have become more accessible to various forms of entertainment. With the advent of mobile apps and online bookmakers, betting has become more accessible not only for people in big cities but also for those living in rural areas.

Interesting observation, guys! Betting on such unconventional things as politics or shows does look unusual, but on the other hand, I think it reflects the changing interests of people. Hardly any of us would have thought a few years ago that betting on elections or TV shows would become so popular. But, as has already been said, this is not a coincidence, but rather a pattern.
