Welcome and thank you for taking a look at these paintings. I paint to translate the world around me, in an attempt to immortalise beauty, learnings, and to celebrate life. To observe the essence of life; which perhaps is just the way light touches us.

For me, “painting is just another way of keeping a diary” Pablo Picasso.
Manet, Lucien Freud and John Singer Sargent are among my favourite artists. I am attracted to their free and loud brush strokes. Portraits by Sargent are especially intriguing; perfect precision from afar, but when up close; bold dashes of colour that appear random.

ROYAL SOCIETY OF BRITISH ARTISTS ANNUAL EXHIBITION 2021
The Royal Society of British Artists boasts just over one hundred of the UK’s top painters, sculptors and printmakers as members, all possessing the highest levels of skill in their chosen styles and media.
Alongside the membership, the exhibition will display works selected from the Society's open call including two paintings "Robin" and "A bird in the garden" by Felicity Starr.
The exhibtion will be open to visitors from the 15 April 2021 to 24 April 2021 at the Mall Galleries, London and can be previewed now using the link below.
